Today I want to tell you a bit more about a key to a successful transformation – balance.
Many people when trying to improve their lives, turn them upside down completely, which might work for some.
But, very common “all or nothing approach” is usually sustainable only for a short period of time.
I always tell my clients that the most optimal long-term solution is balance. They don’t have to give up on their favourite foods, eating only salad or spending hours in the gym, 6 days a week.
For most of us, it’s just not possible and unhealthy ways to transform life.
To have long-lasting results, we need a healthy balance in what we eat and do. So, you can train 3 times a week and still have great results. You can eat that pizza or chocolate and still achieve your goals.
Sure, it will take longer to get what you want, but believe me, it will be a lot easier to stick with the plan which in turn will actually give you desired effects.
Make small changes and turn them into good habits. Then add another one. And another. This way you will compound good behaviour on your fitness journey.
Try to ditch the “all or nothing” approach. When you side-track from the plan, don’t worry. It won’t stop your progress, in the worst-case scenario it will slow it down, but more often than not, it will not have much impact. As long as it will be occasional.
This key to a successful transformation will help you on your journey. Just be patient and consistent with what you do and you will achieve all your goals.
