What do you think are the two most powerful words in the English language?
Care to take a guess?
“Yes and No.” That’s a good one.
“Let go.” Definitely needed sometimes.
“**** you.” Yes, powerful, but not always helpful.
“I am.” – And we have a winner!
Because, as famous author Gary Hensel writes, “What you put after them shapes your reality.”
Think about it.
Do you often find yourself saying things like:
- I am tired
- I am busy
- I am overwhelmed
- I am lazy
- I am not motivated
- I am overworked
- I am afraid
- I am not smart enough
- I am not strong enough
Well, what sort of reality do you think that will create?
Your brain is a goal-achieving machine and it operates off of the “programming” that is installed by the very things we say to ourselves.
So what’s playing in the background for you?
What’s your brain programmed to achieve?
Albert Einstein said, “Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.”
What’s coming for you?
If you don’t like what you see, I strongly suggest you start paying attention to your I AM statements and start adopting some new ones.
Remember, to HAVE the life you want, you must first BE the person who will DO the things to get it. That starts with a powerful and connected I AM statement.
What’s yours?
